DIY Advent Wreath || Blogmas Day 3

Advent calendars don't always have to be chocolate. Sometimes it is nice to make something yourself, that you can use, and it also makes a good Christmas decoration.

I found this on Pintrest and loved the idea. It was so easy to make, and could be made out of things you probably have in your house already.

You will need:
-Coloured paper
-Something to draw a circle around
-Pen/ pencil
-24 Pegs
-Card cut in a big circle
-Decoration for the centre
-String (to hang it with)

The first thing to do, is draw 24 circles on coloured paper or card and cut them out. Then you will need to number them from 1 to 24. You can just do it with pen, but I found some silver number stickers, which were perfect.

Then use blue tack, to stick the circle on the end of the peg.

Next, hole punch the big circle of card, and thread through a piece of string, which you can use to hang up the wreath. Then put the pegs around the edge of the white card. I put them from number 24 to 1, so that it is a countdown to Christmas, but you could always do it oppositely.

To finish it off, I just made a little bow out of coloured tape, and used a 'Happy Christmas' sticker.

Let me know if you like the idea, and if you make it.
