Maple Holistics Review

You may remember that a couple of months ago, I ran a giveaway with a company called Maple Holistics. As well as running a giveaway with me, they were also kind enough to send me a couple of their products. The two things that they sent me were the Dead Sea Mud Mask* and the Silk 18 Conditioner*, and I'm going to review them today. Apologies if you have already read this post; it disappeared and I have no idea what happened to it.

Dead Sea Mud Mask
When I first opened this, I'm not going to lie, the colour terrified me. I have used mud masks before but never one that looked so thick and grey. I'm pretty sure it is lavender scented, and it feels very fresh on your face. It is probably not one to use too often, but I think I will be able to get a lot of use out of one pot. I could feel such a difference after using it. I definitely made my face a lot less oily and it felt a lot smoother and clearer afterwards. Even after applying quite a lot, it dried pretty quickly, which I love because I can't deal with face masks that take half an hour to dry. I think that it would also be a good one to apply just to your nose, or t-zone, if that area is feeling particularly oily.

Silk 18 Conditioner
I recently got a major haircut. I had about 6 or 7 inches of my long hair cut off, and although my long hair wasn't awful, I am trying to keep my shorter hair in very good condition. So as you can imagine, finding a good conditioner is very important to me. I wouldn't say that this is perfect, especially if your hair is already damaged; I don't think it would be a repairing conditioner. But for my hair, at the moment, it is keeping it very soft and moisturised at the ends, so I am very pleased with it. It also smells amazing. It is vanilla scented, and it's is also a smell that lingers in your hair and hasn't disappeared a couple of hours later.
