Favourite Products of 2015

It is that time again, for my favourite products of 2015. This year has been another great year for me, makeup wise. I have discovered a lot of new products that I have loved. Here are my favourites.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette
This year I got two Naked Palettes, which were the original one, and the Naked Smoky one. I love them both, so much, but my ultimate favourite product of 2015, has been the Smoky Palette. It is the most beautiful palette I have ever seen, especially the outside of it. The eye shadows are amazing quality and the palette contains a perfect selection of colours, both matte and shimmery. I love that I can create both natural and more dramatic looks from one palette. If you are thinking about buying this, you will not regret it.

MAC Vanilla Pigment
I've mentioned this before, but the Vanilla Pigment was the first product that I ever knew of from MAC, as it was very popular a few years ago. I bought it earlier on this year, and can definitely see why it was so popular. You can use it to highlight either your face or eyes (I usually use it for my eyes). I looks amazing in the inner corners or on your brow bone. It is, again, so worth the money and a little goes a long way, so I know that it will last for ages.

Hoola Bronzer
I know I mention the Hoola Bronzer so often, but that is because I love it so much, so it had to be included in my 2015 favourites. It is such a good bronzer for contouring and has the perfect colour for my skin tone. It is very natural looking, whilst still creating a defined contour. It was great for me to start getting into contouring, because of the fact that it looks so natural. It is also good for just general bronzing, however I mainly use it for contouring only.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
I managed to get this mascara for around half of the price, in a promotional offer, and I'm so glad I did. It is so amazing for lengthening your lashes, and adding some volume. If I was after a lot of volume, I probably wouldn't pick this mascara, but it is amazing for adding length. The formula is great, and it dries quickly and lasts all day. It isn't waterproof, but it doesn't smudge throughout the day. It is also really easy to remove, which is a bonus.

L'Oreal Super Liner
I don't know how else to start, other than saying that this eye liner is amazing. I love the gold packaging, too. The shape of the wand is great for precise lines, and is so easy to use. The shape also means that you can use it for either thin or thick lines, very easily. Again, this product dries very quickly and stays on throughout the day perfectly, but it very easy to remove. It is not a high end product either, so it is also very affordable.

Eyelure Lashes
This year I have began to get a lot more into false lashes. I love the way they finish a look, and to be honest, are sometimes easier to put on than faffing around with mascara. My favourite eyelash brand from this year, has been Eyelure. They aren't massively expensive, and the value for money is amazing. They have so many different styles, so I have been trying out a few. I also love the glue that comes with them too.

MAC Prep and Prime Loose Powder
This powder has been another classic for me this year. I don't tend to use it everyday, because I love it  so much and I don't want to run out. I also tend to use a more intense powder on days where I am more oily. This powder, however, is amazing to set your makeup and keeps it in place for a long time. The fact that it is purple, means that it is good at balancing out redness and discolouration. It never looks cakey at all, and I love it!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, and have had an amazing year! All the best for 2016.

What have been your favourite products of 2015?

What I Got for Christmas 2015

I will start this post off with the common disclaimer. I am by no means bragging about my presents, I am so grateful for each and every one. I just love watching these videos, and reading these posts, so I thought I would do mine. Here is what I got for Christmas.

From my parents I got quite a few things from Victoria Secret. I got some underwear, pyjamas and a dressing gown, which is the fluffiest thing ever!!

I also got three things from Topshop. I got a grey, long sleeved T-Shirt dress, a grey V-neck jumper and a black dress with a gold collar.

The last things I got from my parents, were a MAC eyebrow pencil, and a Kim Kardashian book, which I forgot to take a picture of.

From my mums best friend, I got a Pandora ring. I am so in love with it!!

The rest of the presents are from various people and I love them all! I got Beyonce's Perfume, Lush Snow Fairy, various chocolates, a Topshop gift card and MAC Prolong Wear Concealer.

I am so happy with all of my presents and had a lovely Christmas. I hope you did too.

I hope you are all having a great Christmas Eve and are looking forward to tomorrow. Today I am going to share with you, my bucket list. It is so nice to see what other people aspire to do in their lives, so I thought I'd share mine.

It will be a short post today, so they you can all get back to singing Christmas songs and eating, but I hope you enjoy it. Obviously I have more than 10 things on my bucket list, but I thought I'd just share some of it with you.

What is on your bucket list?

Parapenting in the Mountains || Blogmas Day 23

Today, I did something that I have always wanted to do, and that was parapenting. It was the most amazing experience ever. It is basically where you and a guide ski off of the top of a mountain, with a parachute, and glide through the sky.

After two failed attempts at first, where the parachute didn't open properly, we finally took off. I was in the air for around 10 minutes, and I think the total descent was around 900 meters.

I have put a video of the take off below, for you to watch. If you ever have the opportunity to do it, I would definitely recommend it. It was incredible!

(Sorry if the video quality comes out bad- I don't know why it's doing that)

Three Things I've Learned This Year || Blogmas Day 22

 1. To care less what people think
I have spent a fair amount of my years, caring so much about what others think of me, and this year I have just learnt to not give a damn. Not everyone in your life is going to like what you, and what you stand for, but that shouldn’t matter. Obviously, I still struggle with this at times, but my life is so much easier and happier now that I spend a lot less time worrying about what people think.

2. Hard work pays off
A major thing that happened to me this year was taking my GCSE's and getting my results. It taught me that working hard for something really does pay off. I put all of my effort in them, and tried my absolute best and came out with 2 A*'s, 7 A's and a B, which I was so proud of myself for.

3. People won’t be the same forever
Probably my biggest lesson, of this whole year, is that no one will stay the same their whole life. Everyone changes and grows as an individual; sometimes for the good and sometimes not. It can be sad when you realise that someone has become a person that is a lot different to the person you were once close with, but it doesn’t matter. I’ve also learned that the problem doesn’t always lie with them changing, it sometimes lies with you not accepting it. However, it is a natural thing that happens as people grow up, so you just have to deal with it.

What's on my iPhone? || Blogmas Day 21

When I was planning out my posts for this month, I was thinking about what I like watching on Youtube, which could be converted into a blog post. I love finding out what people have on their phone, because I am nosy like that, so I thought that it would be a great post idea.

So here is what is on my iPhone. I have the iPhone 6S in gold, which I bought a couple of months ago after dropping my old phone in the bath. I'm just going to include pictures, and then write underneath all of the apps that I have.

My wallpaper at the moment, is very festive and includes several topless pictures of Zac Efron.

On my home screen, I just have the usual apps, such as Messages, the App Store and Settings. Then on the second page, I have all of my apps organised into folders.

Extras Folder
Contacts, Calculator, Compass, Voice Memos, Stocks, Health, Podcasts, Tips, Watch and iBooks.

These are just the apps that come on the phone, and take up all the storage.

Social Media Folder
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook Messenger, Followers Plus (for Instagram), Vine, Youtube, Tumblr, Bloglovin', Blogger and Pintrest.

Photo Editing Folder
Pic Collage, Instasize, Afterlight and Photo Editor.

HSBC Banking, Amazon, My Vodaphone, Paypal, Unidays, Ebay, Asos, Topshop, H&M, River Island, Forever 21, New Look, Boohoo and Pizza Hut.

This is the folder that is responsible for the fact that I don't have any money.

Random Folder
Find My iPhone, Countdown, Find Friends, Photo Vault, Period Tracker, Spotify and Shazam.

Health Folder
My Fitness Pal, Couch to 5k and 30 Days.

Games Folder
Smashy Roads, Don't Fall, Tetris, Temple Run, Cooking Dash, Candy Crush, Word Brain, Scrabble and Endless Sky.

Sixth Form Folder
The Homework App, Wunderlist, Outlook Email and Flashcards.

Let me know whether or not you enjoyed this kind of post.

Last Minute Gift Ideas || Blogmas Day 19

December goes so quickly, so sometimes you get to a few days before Christmas when you realise you haven't done all of your Christmas shopping. This can become stressful because online shopping deliveries often won't come in time at this point. Here are some ideas, which could help you.

Mason Jar DIYs
A gift that a lot of people will enjoy making or receiving, is a mason jar full of goodies. One of my favourite ideas is to fill it with is either cookie or hot chocolate ingredients, so that the person you are giving the present to, can make it themselves.

For example, in a hot chocolate gift jar, you can include sachets of hot chocolate powder, mini marshmallows and chocolate chips or sprinkles to top it with. You can also decorate the jar with ribbon and a tag.

If you are really close to Christmas, this could be a good idea for you. If there is a certain treat that you know the person you are gifting, likes, then you could always bake it for them. It means that the food won't go off before Christmas, and depending on what it is, you might be able to put it in a little box and decorate it.

Photo Album
An idea for a gift, that is a lot more person, is a photo album. You could print off lots of pictures that are special to that person and collate them into an album that they can look through. It's a great idea that everyone will enjoy receiving, especially parents or family.

I hope you a have found these ideas helpful.
