Santa Hat Brownie Bites || Blogmas Day 5

I found this idea on Pintrest a couple of week ago and I thought that it was so cute.
You will need:
175g milk or dark chocolate
175g unsalted butter
3 medium eggs
250g caster sugar
75g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
50g chopped walnuts (optional)
Squirty/ Whipped Cream
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
The first thing that you will need to do is melt the butter and the chocolate.
Next you need to whisk the eggs and sugar together, until it is thick and creamy. Then add it to the melted butter and chocolate mixture and fold them together.
Then sift the flour and cocoa powder into the micture and stir in. (This is the step where you add the walnuts- if you are using them).
Now you will need to pour the finished mixture into a square 20cmx20cm tin (lined with greaseproof/ baking paper) and make sure it is spread  out evenly.
Then put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes, although mine had to stay in for a little longer. When you take them out they should be crunchy on the top but still a little gooey inside. Leave them to stand until they have cooled.
Meanwhile chop the stalks off of about 16 strawberries (depending on how many squares you are planning to cut your brownie into).
Once the brownies are cool and you have cut them into squares (or whatever shape you would like them to be in), you will need to put the strawberry on top and put squirty cream round the edges of the strawberry and a blob on the top. The idea is that it looks like a Santa Hat.
Then they are ready to eat and they are delicious!
Let me know what you think of this idea.
